New York Medicaid System "Clearly Out of Control" According to Medicaid Fraud Task Force

New York Senators gathered last month to discuss the current crisis within the state’s massive Medicaid program that spends nearly one billion dollars per week. According to Senator Kemp Hannon, nearly a billion dollars is estimated to be lost to fraud every year:

“It’s not done right when governors are booking over a billion dollars a year from fraud recoveries.” N.Y. Sen. Kemp Hannon.
