The owners and operators of Family Healthcare Services in Houston, Texas, have been indicted on various counts of healthcare fraud, conspiracy, and kickbacks, says DoJ. According to a superseding indictment, Clifford Ubani, Ezinne Ubani, Princewill Njoku, Caroline Njoku, and others conspired to submit “false and fraudulent claims to the Medicare program for purportedly providing home health care services that were not medically necessary and/or not rendered.” They are presumed innocent and await trial.
