$22M Home Health Care Fraud

Friday, DoJ announced indictments in a $22 million Medicare fraud scheme, alleging that patients were recruited and paid kickbacks and bribes to arrange for their Medicare beneficiary numbers to be used to file claims with Medicare for purported home health care services that were not provided and were not medically necessary. Multiple individuals and two companies, ABC and Florida Home Health, were allegedly involved in the fraud.
