Dr. Teresa M. Cortinas and Dr. Walter E. Wojcicki, former radiologists at Midtown Imaging  in West Palm Beach, Florida blew the whistle on their employer for medicare fraud and will receive a $600,000  reward.  According to DoJ, the radiology clinic and its owners “have agreed to pay $3 million to resolve allegations that the clinic violated the False Claims Act….by entering into certain leasing and professional services agreements with referring physicians and physician groups that violated the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law.”
