Big Dig Contractor Pleads Guilty to False Statements

Wall Street Journal reports that one of Boston’s Big Dig contractors pleaded guilty to 39 counts of making false statements and will pay $19.5 million fine after admitting employees knew about ceiling panel defects. In 2006, the tunnel ceiling collapsed, killing a traveler according to the Boston Globe.
