Canadian Company Sold U.S. Bad Bullet-Proof Vests, Says DoJ

Lincoln Fabrics Ltd., a Canadian corporation, knowingly put American law enforcement officers at risk by selling defective bulletproof vests, says Tony West, Assistant Attorney General for the Department’s Civil Division. DoJ issued a press release friday summarizing the False Claims Act allegations against the Canadian company and its American subsidiary Lincoln Textiles Inc. This lawsuit follows others, previously reported by FraudBlawg, regarding “[un]bulletproof” vests made from defective Zylon fabric.
