Fraudulent Prescriptions and Medical Documents Lead to Medicare Fraud

Ajibola Adekeunle Sadiqr, owner of a Los Angeles durable medical equipment (DME) company, admitted to submitting $950,000 in false claims to Medicare. Cooper Medical Supply purchased fraudulent prescription and medical documents in order to submit false claims for power wheelchairs and DME equipment. According to the DoJ, Sadiqr faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
